Acro Gives Back To Local Community It Serves

Vernon, IL – August 2014 – Acro’s light industrial staffing division in Illinois, Pyramid Staffing, is very excited to announce its partnership with the local United Methodist Children’s Home. The program provides assistance to young people (ages 18-24) seeking GED completion followed by gainful employment. Pyramid’s On Site Manager, Katelyn Pfiester, will be serving on the Board, helping young people develop the job skills necessary to gain employment with Pyramid’s clients in Illinois through a temp to hire program. Great work Katelyn! Another example of Acro giving back to the communities it serves!

Acro Supports Forgotten Harvest Farm

0e02f4ea-ef81-11e3-b30b-22000a98b2af-mediumLivonia, MI – June 2014 – Acro volunteered at Forgotten Harvest’s Ore Creek Farm to assist with landscaping and planting this year’s crops. Forgotten Harvest Farms is situated on 125 acres of land, donated for use by Nora Moroun. In 2013,  they grew and harvested 880,000 pounds of fresh healthy produce. Forgotten Harvest Farm is committed to being certain that metro Detroit families in need will have the benefit of fresh healthy food.  Just another community giving initiative that makes Acro a great place to work!

Acro Gives Back to Community at Jr. Achievement Event

Our team won the 1st heat, and finished 11th overall. Thanks to Dennis Chenoweth, Freedom Walker and Joe Leaser for representing Acro at the event!
